The view of the ocean + the 2 small but pleasant beaches
There was no one at the reception to welcome us when we arrived at 21h00. The reception area was not lit, so to figure out what was happening upon our arrival was a bit difficult and confusing. This gave us a very bad first impression. It took us almost one hour to figure out that we needed to go to Room 206 to check-in. The instruction to go to Room 206 was not clearly indicated at the reception. The number given for customer service at the reception, when we called, it did not answer because we realized that the lady did not take her mobile phone with her, whilst she was cleaning the outside drive ways. The lady in Room 206, who is supposed to be the reception + concierge + contact person + cleaning woman, etc. did not speak one word of English, which annoyed us a lot because communicating something to her got very difficult. Upon our arrival to the room, there was nothing prepared for us, for example, no remote control for the TV, no instructions for the safe and the internet use, no phone in the room which connects us to the lady in room 206. Every time we need anything, we need to go to room 206 and hope the lady is there so we can get what we want, provided she well understood what we wanted. Otherwise, we couldn't get anything. We could use the internet only on the balcony and not in our room, which was very annoying because in the balcony there was too much light during the day and we could not see any thing on the screen. The only time we can well use our computer in the balcony is after 22h00, when the sun has set and we can clearly see our computer screen. We feel that it is not right to charge us EUR 2.00 per day for the safe, when it is clearly indicated on the website that there is the safe along with the rental. I think this should not be charged since we are paying fairly a high price per day for the room with no service. We feel it is a bit exagerated. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay.

Very nice and good situated, near perfect beaches.
Hard to find, specially when you arrive in the evening, if you do not know the way very well at Ibiza. Coming from the airport follow signs portinatx, then turn left at sign cala portinatx, direct at roundabout right turn portinatx. Follow this road until you can make a left turn to portinatx (up the mountain) then around km 27 left petit s'arenal (small signs australasia)

The room was clean and very spacious, a lot more than we expected for the money we paid. It had a fully equipped kitchen and living space with separate bedroom and bathroom. The best asset is Jenny, the lady who looks after the apartments, as she will go out of her way to make your stay comfortable. When we went it was only the beginning of the season, so we got to enjoy the pool mostly for ourselves. Location can be a bit tricky if you don't rent a car. S'arenal Petit is a lovely quiet bay, would definitely recommend this place... super value for money!

I liked the accomodation, the swimming pool, the surrounding
I didn't like the loudness of the building, every evening the noise of the surrounding hotels.I regret there was no cleaning during a week, they didn't change any towels during our stay.

The swimming pool, the balcony, the excellent location and the friendly staff.
The apartment itself is a little tired. Could do with a dvd player and better choice of tv channels.

Lovely. The cool coca colas offered on arrival were typical of the friendliness and beauty of the establishment.

The apartments were situated in an elevated position above the beach in Portinatx. A flight of steps lead to the beach and restaurants and Spar shop (watch opening times at weekends). Be aware that the same steps lead you back up to the apartments at the end of the day! No problem for able bodied sun worshipers but no wheelchair access. The apartments were well serviced apart from lack of wine glasses. Well positioned, clean, simple but certainly not sound proofed. We heard next door showering and general movements but for the price, all that said was perfectly acceptable. A really lovely weekend away :)
The fact that you could hear the neighbours' activities!

Great part of the island if you have a car to get around. The apartment was ok, but not as modern as the pictures show. The balcony/verada was spacious and did have a view of the water and hillsides. Many private small beautiful beaches on this side of the island!
Not as nice as the pictures show. It would have been tight w/ 4 people. Our crib/baby cot had no sheets/bedding.

From a welcome letter with all the necessary information before arriving, to a smile and a nice chat at the end of stay - all was great. If you want to relax and chill out, there's no better place to stay in march in Ibiza, than in Portinatx in Apartamentos Australasia Grop Playa. Very calm place. (But be careful - there's no open shop in the city in the low season). Great value at that price!
